Mark Schwartz and the ISSTD

Interesting to note that Castlewood has an unsually large number of patients diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, formerly referred to as Multiple Personality Disorder. For a 10 bed facility, it is hard to believe that people from all over the country would seek treatment for an eating disorder only to realise later that their real problem was identity fragmentation due to severe trauma. Or, could it be that Mark Schwartz is biased towards this diagnosis, no matter what evidence or logic is presented to the contrary? It is clear that Schwartz is passionate about supporting the ISSTD and promotes hypnosis and other harmful therapies in the treatment of eating disorders.
