Colette Travers sued Castlewood Treatment Center for malpractice in 2012, At the time the center was under the direction of Dr. Mark Schwartz.  This suit states that the therapists there implanted false memories of abuse and mis-diagnosed her with Dissociative Identity Disorder.  This case was ultimately settled out of court with a gag order, presumably for a large sum of cash.

“During the course of hypnosis as well as the time they were given psychotropic drugs, they had implanted in their memory false memories of abuse that really did not occur,” Vuylsteke says.

Lisa Nasseff and Leslie Thompson, who stayed at the Castlewood Treatment Center for treatment of eating disorders, have filed separate lawsuits against the center and its chief psychologist, Mark Schwartz, with similar allegations that the women were brainwashed into believing they had been sexually abused and involved in satanic cults.

The Castlewood Treament Center lawsuit states she was treated for anorexia with psychotropic drugs and hypnosis, which brainwashed her into believing she was repeatedly raped, had multiple personalities and suffered from and participated in satanic ritual abuse.
